Do you start the year feeling entirely overwhelmed when goal-setting? Do you set yourself multiple goals, all of which are pretty big? It’s great to have big dreams (and I’m cheering you on, seriously), but do you really know anyone who’s achieved multiple large-scale goals all at the same time?
Chances are, your answer is probably no. When we set HUGE goals, and especially when we set more than one at a time, life can feel overwhelming. Pursuing multiple goals (most of which will require us to push past our comfort zones) can be utterly exhausting 💤 You’re human, and there’s only so much you can do.

This is why, in order to achieve great things, you must choose ONE PRIMARY GOAL. I’m not saying you can’t have smaller goals that feed into this goal, because that’s inevitable. But you must choose one thing that aligns with your values and makes you feel a bit scared all at the same time. This goal must be specific (what is it you ultimately want to achieve?), measurable (how can we truly assess the goal if we don’t have a measure?), and should have a set deadline in mind (because this is how we’ll break down our milestones), as well as focus of ONE area of your life.
I also want you to let go of the idea that your goal needs to be “realistic” 🙅🏼♀️ Realistic goals are subjective – meaning what one person might deem to be “realistic”, may seem completely unattainable to another. That’s why I want you to set an “impossible” goal. A goal that sits outside your comfort zone, feels a little too big and challenges your self-belief.

In reality, unless you’re planning to set yourself a goal like fly to Mars and open a cake shop, your goal is – even if you don’t quite believe it yet – realistic.
Setting a goal above what you believe is possible for yourself forces you into a journey of self development and personal growth. You’ll question what you believe you are capable of in pursuit of this goal. Because, let’s be real – you are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for! You’ll question your limiting beliefs and reinforce new neural pathways, you’ll crush those fears that you might have around reaching your goal, it’ll change what you believe to be true about yourself, your worth, your abilities…
Even if you don’t reach that goal, you’ll have been in pursuit of an ✨ impossible goal ✨ and you’ll likely have achieved far greater success than if you set yourself a goal that you felt was “realistic”.
This Goal Planner is designed to encourage you take control of your life and catapult you into a journey of self discovery and personal development.
